The biggest Gen X online house party ever.
New Year's Eve, Thursday, December 31 at 9 PM Eastern. Online, from your couch. Rooms for the partiers, the nerds, and the ones who stand by the chips.
As Gen X’ers we are in a strange position - some of us still have kids at home, some of us are grandparents. We became grandparents 5 months ago to the sweetest baby boy. It’s been a true blessing watching our son and daughter in law navigate this parent role. They are so laid back - they make it look easy. I don’t think I was ever laid back as a parent. I am so very proud of our kids 🥰. As they are thriving we have two other grown children - one in Washington state, and another knocking out of the park here in Richmond, VA. Life is full of ups and downs - we’re riding this up as long as we can.
He is so stinking cute! Thank you for sharing him and your story. My youngest son had a daughter who’s three now and she’s the spitting image of me… Lol they are pregnant again with a baby boy that is due in February. My oldest and his girlfriend are having a baby boy in January. This one’s truly a miracle because she was told she would never have children because her uterus was not viable… Guess they’re proving that wrong 🤣

That is awesome.... I am kind of in the same boat. But I still feel like it was literally just yesterday I was running the streets; now I have a grandson who is 8 and a newly born granddaughter as of September. Its an amazing feeling for sure. These are the moments to enjoy and cherish for sure. Congrats!

Thank you, hanvt had a chance to meet her just yet, but that is going to change soon, as I am making a trip back to San Antonio to meet her at the same time my son will be home for a visit from NY.

Some of us are also helping care for our aging parents as well. Such an adventure. No grandbabies here yet, this is something I am really looking forward to though!!
